Spring is a busy time of year for the health and safety experts at APT with companies from across the nation looking to develop their health and safety know how. Our courses calendar is filling up and places on some of our most coveted programmes of study are becoming limited so if your company is looking to boost their safety this month, booking soon is encouraged.
This May we’re running 4 separate CITB training programmes including our Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme, Site Managers Safety Training Scheme, Health and Safety Awareness and a Site Managers Safety Training Scheme Refresher. Our health and safety training courses taking place in May cover all levels of employment from new labourers right through to managers so construction industry employers can take advantage of training throughout the chain of command.
Part of our health and safety training calendar this may comprises of a Manual Handling, a course that is suitable for anyone who’s job role entails lifting and moving heavy objects, be it regularly or every once in a while. From retail factory workers to mechanics and engineers, the course will provide a sound knowledge on how to appropriately manoeuvre items in a way that avoids injuries by teaching good posture and efficient movement principles.
QNUK Emergency First Aid
Our Level 3 emergency first aid at work qualification is ideal for those who have already undertaken the first 2 levels of the course and are looking to progress. After completing the third tier which covers emergency such as choking, external bleeding and burns, candidates can progress onto a variety of other more specialised courses such as Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid and Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED.
