The Health and Safety Awareness course is accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board and is a great initial starting point for those who work in the industry but haven’t undertaken any health and safety training. Outlining duties & responsibilities, broadly covering safe practices and highlighting hazards, the training programme is ideal for new starters or delegates who are looking to climb the ladder and seek a promotion.
NEBOSH General Certificate
In February we will once again be running our comprehensive NEBOSH health and safety course in Staffordshire, covering all three units over 11 days. As a level 3 qualification, the course is suited to supervisors and managers who need a broad overview of health and safety practices and covers risk control, management systems, fire safety and musculoskeletal hazards to name a few. This qualification is one of the most widely attained in the UK which is just a testament to how beneficial it can be for organisations.
Fire safety procedures are vital for every workplace whether a small office or a huge factory and every premises requires at least one fire marshal, depending on size, risk and employee numbers. That individual will be responsible for implementing and following procedure in the event of drills or fires and thus should have a relevant qualification so that they can execute these safely.
